I just read the news on the BBCs website;

I should tell you that when other kids wanted to play at being cops and robbers I wanted to be Carl Kolchak, or Doctor Who or #6. (That probably explains why the other kids never played with me, they never knew what I was talking about.)
Patrick McGoohan's series The Prisoner was a huge part of my imagination when I was growing up. and still is a huge part of my imagination now.
I never met the man but I will miss him just the same.
May he rest in peace.
