Rodgers, Blake Mitchell ALBANY Blake Mitchell Rodgers, 18, was born into eternal life on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Blake was the cherished and beloved son of Jami Audi Stolis and Robert Rodgers. Blake recently graduated from Hudson High School of Learning Technologies in New York City. Blake attended Forts Ferry Elementary School, Christian Brothers Academy and Shaker High School. He loved sports, and played Pop Warner and high school football, along with lacrosse. He loved his family deeply, but enjoyed music, his friends and basketball. In addition to his cherished parents, he was the brother of Bobby Rodgers Jr, Dimitri, Eleni and Nia Stolis; cherished grandson of Bill Rodgers (late Sally) and the late George Audi (late Nancy); beloved nephew of William Rodgers Jr, Suzette Amrock (Dennis), Albert Bruno (Vanessa) and Roberta Carlin (Michael); Blake is survived by many cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Blake's family Sunday, July 5, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the funeral home. Funeral services, Monday, July 6, 2015, at 8:45 a.m., from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, thence to the Historic Church of St. Mary on Capitol Hill, Albany, at 9:30 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Blake in a special way may send a contribution to the charity of your choice .
