Whatever Happened To Al Bruno III?

First off, I want to tell you I’m alright and doing fine. My wife Sherri and I are happy, and my wonderful daughter has come back to live with us for a while. There is nothing that tests the bonds of a family quite like three people sharing a single bathroom.

You may be wondering: where are the stories? Where is the podcast?

Truth be told, I’ve found myself in a place where I’m spending less time in my office writing stories and more time going out—listening to live music, doing karaoke, and having adventures instead of writing about them.

I admit I sometimes miss telling tales for the Night Blogger and random Booger Monsters From Outer Space, but I’m 58 years old now and I’ve been obsessively spinning stories for four decades. That’s a long time to live in your head.

I think I’m just in a different season of my life for now—but I can’t imagine I won’t be back someday.

In the meantime, I’ll keep this page up for you to enjoy. The podcast will probably be going dormant soon, but again, I can’t imagine I won’t be getting back into the game eventually.

Your reading and comments have gotten me through some dark days, and for that I am deeply grateful to all of you.
