Don't worry if you don't remember The Micronauts! PLAID STALLIONS will remember it for you!

From PLAID STALLIONS
For our 40th episode we are joined by actor/comedian Chris Tallman (@MrChristallman on twitter) for a celebration of the Interchangeable World of the Micronauts, the classic toy line from Mego that is about to get a major motion picture and new comic book series this year.

The discussion begins with the toy line's Japanese origins, it's halcyon Mego days, the influential Marvel comic book, our childhood impressions, later incarnations and then we pick out favourite toys from the line...

And now we've lost Alan Rickman...

I'm speechless...

We’ve sad, sad news to report: Alan Rickman, the incredibly talented British actor of stage and screen, has passed away at the age of 69.

Readers of all ages are sure to have their own favourite Rickman performance: younger readers may know him as Severus Snape in the Harry Potter series of film adaptations.

Others will remember him as the incomparable villain Hans Gruber in the 1988 action classic, Die Hard. Still others may think of his tender performance in the British drama Truly, Madly, Deeply, or his wonderfully broad, boo-hiss bad guy the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves...

How can David Bowie be gone? How could he not be forever?

I think the New York Times said it best;

David Bowie Dies at 69; Star Transcended Music, Art and Fashion

You're goddamn right he did!

How about to say goodbye we watch his first video-

and then his last-

ANGUS SCRIMM 1926-2016 rest in peace my favorite monster...

From DREAD CENTRAL
Phanstasm director Don Coscarelli ...said of Scrimm’s death:

"Angus Scrimm passed away peacefully tonight surrounded by his friends and loved ones. He was 89 years old. His performance as the Tall Man is a towering achievement in horror film history. He was the last in a long line of classic horror movie stars. Angus was a terrific actor and an even better friend. He will be missed."

Wow. I don't know about you guys but the last seven days were pretty rough over here. So let me start out by saying this...

GET WELL SOON BUBBLES!

I miss the Hell out of you and want you to come home soon!
