Two films from the 70's chock with interesting ideas, memorable scenes but saddled with lousy endings. That being said I think both films are worth your time and I have watched them multiple times.
As per IMDB the plot for LEMORA: A CHILD'S TALE OF THE SUPERNATURAL "A young girl who returns to her hometown to see her dying father finds herself being drawn into a web of vampirism and witchcraft."
I couldn't find a trailer but here is a scene from the film...
Thoughts: A movie that takes elements from Dracula, Camilla and the Shadow Out Of Innsmouth and blends them together into a fascinating supernatural fairy tale. Well worth your time but the final 'battle' of the film descends into kind of pointless chaos and the final scene is fascinating but just a little too brief for my tastes.
As per IMDB the plot for MESSIAH OF EVIL "Terror you won't want to remember - In a film you won't be able to forget."
Here is a trailer from the film...
Thoughts: Some really memorable scenes and characters in this one. All the characters- good, bad or weird are interesting to watch. The supermarket scene is particularly chilling and a wonderful sense of the Apocalypse hangs over the whole affair. Then the movie just... stops. It is like they ran out of money. But then again no movie with Royal Dano in it can ever be all bad.
